If they haven't, then you should figure out your budget. A full remodeling job can command a high price, especially depending on what kind of appliances you choose to replace. So you'll need to plan within your budget when you plan a remodel of the kitchen.
So after everything, should you remodel your kitchen? If you're looking for a great way to increase the monetary value, then yes. If your kitchen is beginning to show signs of age, then you might consider it. But if your kitchen is operating at full capacity and you're not planning on selling your home, then there probably isn't a need.
